Ether.fi to launch credit card in partnership with Scroll
The Ether.fi protocol team will release a Visa Cash credit card as part of a partnership with the Scroll blockchain — the product will allow users to borrow money using digital assets as collateral and receive a 3% cashback.
The developers are testing the product within the protocol and are preparing to start sending out the first cards to users on September 16, 2024.
Ether.fi CEO Mike Silagadze said at the Incrypted Online Marathon 2024 that the team aims to create an alternative to traditional banks, and the credit card will be the “starting point” in this process.
