Winning on XRP isn’t enough!
Ripple Labs is testing their own U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin, Ripple Labs’ Ripple USD (RLUSD) on XRP ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum main nets.
To maintain a 1:1 ratio with the US Dollar, RLUSD will be backed with a USD reserve or short-term cash equivalent in a bank.
Additionally, to maintain its integrity, Ripple will allow third-party audits and publish monthly reserve reports; maybe it will look like the USDT report.
