According to PANews, a hacker has returned $19.3 million to the US government. This recovery accounts for 88% of the total value lost in the incident.
Earlier reports indicated that a wallet address associated with the US government was compromised, resulting in approximately $20 million being transferred to the attacker's address. Shortly after the breach, the hacker began returning the stolen funds, which included 13.19 million aUSDC and 2,408 ETH.
