According to Foresight News, Aave contributor bgdlabs reported detecting a series of transactions across different networks targeting certain peripheral contracts. These contracts are not part of the Aave protocol itself but are used on the app.aave.com user interface. The core smart contracts involving all pool dynamics of Aave remain unaffected and are not related to these transactions. The impacted smart contracts only interact with the users utilizing them and the contracts themselves, meaning any potential attackers cannot affect other users.

No funds have been extracted from any users in these transactions, ensuring that all user funds related to Aave are completely secure. As a precautionary measure, the maintainers of app.aave.com (Aave Labs) have temporarily disabled these functions and any other similar features while the investigation is ongoing.
