According to PANews, senior EU digital officials have pledged to actively advance the investigation into X Platform, formerly known as Twitter, to determine if it has violated the Digital Services Act. This legislation aims to combat illegal and harmful content, with the investigation focusing on whether X Platform's algorithms promote far-right political content. If violations are confirmed, X Platform could face fines of up to 6% of its global annual revenue. The European Commission has stated that it will reach a conclusion in accordance with the law as soon as possible.
