Not long after I published my article yesterday, while looking at group messages, I discovered something very distressing:
A Twitter user named 'Old Two' unfortunately passed away due to long-term late nights.
If translated directly according to the blogger's name, it would be 'Second', but out of respect, I will refer to him as 'Second Brother' throughout the text.
Later, a wizard mentioned in the group that Second Brother had previously said he wanted to pull fur to extend his life. Juzuo didn't know Second Brother well, so he privately asked Xie Jiayin, who replied that Second Brother had undergone heart bypass surgery.
A person who got seriously ill made money from pulling fur to undergo heart bypass surgery.
No wonder there’s a saying about pulling fur to extend life.
Then Juzuo opened Second Brother's Twitter homepage, which is now filled with tributes.
What brought Juzuo to tears was this sentence: I'm very sorry to meet you in this way.
This world is like this: when some people are around, you don't feel anything; it's only after they're suddenly gone that you feel a sense of loss, as if a part of you is missing.
From Second Brother's homepage, the pinned content is a selection he made himself, and from his usual content, he seems to be an interesting soul.
Just like teammates you played games with in school, you don’t know them personally; you just meet online, team up to defeat monsters, but suddenly one day you learn they've passed away, and you can never team up again.
That moment was quite disappointing, wasn't it?
Juzuo waited a long time, hoping someone would speak about this matter, whether to commemorate my second brother or to remind everyone to take care of their health.
But after waiting for more than a day, I didn’t see any news on this matter, as if Second Brother had just been drowned in a sea of information and was no longer noticeable.
So I couldn't help but write an article myself.
Perhaps for most people, it's just an overworked death of a cryptocurrency enthusiast.
But in Juzuo's view, this actually reflects the current lives of most people in the cryptocurrency space, as well as the fate that some may face in the future.
In the past two years, when Juzuo was working hard, I basically never slept before 3 AM, especially between 2022 and 2023.
Countless late nights, I sat alone in my study dealing with matters, and the only sound in the room was the sound of my own racing heartbeat; that pounding in my chest made me feel like my heart was a crazily roaring engine, unsure of when it would give out.
In the mornings, I sometimes had to wake up early; if I didn’t wake up early, I would sleep until noon to eat, completely reversing my routine. Later, my health also suffered greatly, with gout recurring and hives lingering; my father said my face was pale and my lips were very white; because of knee issues, I even had trouble walking.
For several months, I was either in the hospital or lying at home, but still worrying about work.
Until I finally couldn't take it anymore under various pressures.
At the moment I decided to withdraw from the circle, I suddenly felt liberated myself.
I am very lucky; although I was reluctant, at least someone proactively pressed the pause button for me; otherwise, it’s hard to say what my situation would be now.
So seeing Second Brother's situation, I can only feel extremely lucky.
If anyone is familiar with Second Brother, or if any of his family sees this, please contact me.
I hope to write a special article for my second brother, to restore his story for everyone, and to draw a complete conclusion to his journey in this world, rather than letting him fade into the crowd.
Finally, I sincerely remind everyone that there are many opportunities in the cryptocurrency space; if you miss a chance to make money, you can wait for the next one, but life is only once, and if it's gone, there will be no next time.
It’s now 10 PM in Paris; dogs' lives are important, so I’m going to sleep.
