Bitcoin has broken through the 70k mark, why is your capital still stagnant? Are you even facing losses while holding on? Let's analyze a few reasons and see how many you relate to: ① Short-term trading: Everyone knows that the volatility in the crypto market is significant; frequent trading can bring considerable returns, giving a sense of excitement akin to gambling, even leading one to feel they've mastered the patterns of contracts, thinking that making money is particularly easy. Both long and short positions can show unrealized gains, but short-term trading limits one's perception, making one believe that prices fluctuate within a certain range—selling when prices are high and buying when they are low—which severely affects trend management. Once trapped, one might miss out on significant market movements. ② Psychological issues: In the crypto world, those who are impatient and have a strong gambling tendency are not suited to stay in this market. Why? One must maintain a good mindset in the face of dramatic ups and downs; pride should not arise from profits, nor should one be disheartened by losses. We must be able to hold onto unrealized gains and assess risks wisely when facing unrealized losses, avoiding impulsive decisions due to momentary losses. One should adopt a mindset of steadfastness, keeping their psychological defenses strong and avoiding mental fatigue. ③ Blindly following trends: In a large forest, there are all kinds of birds. In the vast platform of the crypto market, everyone has their own opinions, but one must first be firm in their own direction and not be swayed by this suggestion or that. Allowing oneself to be misled and then questioning their own decisions leads to indecision. Having gone through several bull and bear markets since entering the space in 2018, facing numerous liquidations, the journey from a newbie to an experienced trader is long. Only through continuous trial and error can one grow; maintaining a good mindset is the greatest investment in oneself, and stabilizing oneself can lead to stability in one's trades. The above are my experiences from trading over the years, shared for those feeling lost in the crypto world. Only those who have weathered the storm understand how to shelter others. That’s all for today’s article; remember, new entrants should proceed with caution.
