🚀 Helios is driving the future of Ethereum's multi-chain light clients!
a16z engineer @NoahCitron recently stated that Helios is gradually becoming Ethereum's multi-chain light client, which is key to achieving large-scale scalability for Ethereum! A future with thousands of Rollups seems to be on the horizon ✨, but interoperability between Rollups will become the true focus.
👀 Vitalik also responded that this is indeed an important step towards a multi-chain future! Key future steps include: integrating Helios (or alternatives) into user wallets, on-chain L2 configurations, and validating state proofs through configuration specifications. Once achieved, we will be able to obtain universal light client validation supporting L1 and L2, driving efficiency and interoperability for Ethereum.
🎯 My view: This progress has profound implications for the Ethereum ecosystem! Light clients not only provide users with a more efficient trading experience but also represent an important step towards a multi-chain future. The interoperability of Rollups will break the limitations of single chains, bringing infinite possibilities to developers and users.
