Severe Pullback! James Fickel's Long BTC/ETH Losses Exceed 22,500 ETH, Huge Debt Looms!
Monitoring data shows that James Fickel, due to aggressive BTC/ETH long positions, has incurred losses amounting to as much as 22,500 ETH, equivalent to approximately $55 million. Tracing back his operational trajectory: from January 10 to July 1, he borrowed 3,061 WBTC (valued at $172 million) through Aave and converted it into 56,445 ETH at an exchange rate of 0.05424. To repay the massive debt, he has invested a total of $12 million USDC since August 7 to purchase 211 WBTC, and then exchanged 47,476 ETH for 1,888 WBTC (worth $113.5 million) at an exchange rate of 0.04 to repay the Aave loan.
Despite this, Fickel currently still carries a debt of 980 WBTC (approximately $132 million) on Aave. Investors can't help but ask whether this operation is an aggressive attempt or a deepening risk?
