Golden Finance reports that, according to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that he currently has no plans to take Tether public, as he believes it would undermine the company's ability to act quickly and "disrupt the status quo." He thinks that a company should go public when it needs to raise capital and liquidity, whereas Tether has made $12 billion in profit over the past two years and is not facing this issue.
