BlockBeats reported that on 24 October, the cryptocurrency trading platform BingX has fully restored its operational capabilities after the recent hot wallet incident, and all deposits and withdrawals have returned to normal. In response to this incident, BingX launched a new "ShieldX" program, a comprehensive program designed to enhance the platform's security infrastructure.
"ShieldX" introduces an upgraded wallet firewall designed to provide advanced protection against external threats and further protect user assets. BingX also works with leading third-party security companies to implement additional 24/7 monitoring and threat detection to ensure that any vulnerabilities are quickly and proactively discovered and resolved.
BlockBeats previously reported that on 20 September, the cryptocurrency trading platform BingX was attacked, and the security company estimated that the total amount of assets stolen from BingX has exceeded £43 million.
