Famous rapper 50 Cent reported that his account and personal website were hacked to promote fake cryptocurrency. On June 21, he warned his 32.8 million subscribers that his account and website thisis50.com had been compromised. 😮

Hackers used the platforms to promote a new meme coin called GUNIT, named after the hip-hop group founded by 50 Cent in the late 90s.

50 Cent has nothing to do with fake cryptocurrency. The Expendables 4 star explained that hackers used his wide social network to attract investors.

The scam involved creating a GUNIT token and using 50 Cent's significant influence (about 12.9 million subscribers) to increase the price of the token.
