A US court has rejected Meta Platforms' attempt to dismiss a lawsuit brought by Australian billionaire and mining company owner Andrew Forrest. The lawsuit stems from a series of deceptive Facebook ads in which Forrest allegedly endorses fake crypto projects.

🔍Forrest accuses Meta of unfair business practices, claiming that the company allowed advertisements to be placed that violated its obligations. Judge Casey Pitts upheld Forrest's right to prove Meta was negligent.
