ChainCatcher reported that according to CoinDesk, NAB Ventures, the venture capital arm of the National Australia Bank (NAB), recently invested in Zodia Custody, a custody service company focusing on cryptocurrencies. The size of the investment was not disclosed.
It is reported that Zodia Custody was co-founded by Standard Chartered and Northern Trust to provide secure digital asset custody services to institutional investors. Zodia Custody will start operations in Australia at the end of 2023. Zodia Custody is ready to become the preferred custodian for digital asset ETF applicants waiting for approval from the Australian Securities Exchange.
