PANews reported on May 30 that according to The Block, Polyhedra Network, the developer of the zero-knowledge interoperability protocol zkBridge, announced today that in response to a week-long dispute with zkSync over its old "ZK" code logo, the company will use "ZKJ" as the code logo when it is listed on the HashKey Global crypto exchange on Friday and in the current listings on major exchanges. Polyhedra said the project is renaming its code to ZKJ, symbolizing "ZK Join" - a united and open ZK community.

Also on Thursday, Polyhedra, Polygon, and StarkWare jointly released a joint statement signed by Polygon co-founders Sandeep Nailwal and Brendan Farmer, Polyhedra co-founder Tiancheng Xie, StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson, and StarkWare scientific advisor Shafi Goldwasser. Although Polyhedra has decided to change its ticker symbol, the joint statement states that ZK "should continue to be a public product."

“It shouldn’t be a trademark for one company: it should be available to everyone, and today we’re calling on the community to demand that Matter Labs withdraw all trademark applications and uses of the ‘ZK’ code,” the group added.
