Lawmakers Press SEC Chairman Gensler to Approve Spot Ethereum ETFs
A bipartisan group of House lawmakers called on SEC Chairman Gary Gensler to approve spot Ethereum ETFs within today's key decision deadline.
The agency should apply the same “principles” as it did when spot Bitcoin ETFs were approved earlier this year, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer , R-Minn., Rep. French Hill , R- Ark., said Josh Gottheimer, DN. .J., Mike Flood , R-Neb. and Wiley Nickel , DN.C. in a letter sent to Gensler on Wednesday. “Given the Committee's actions earlier this year, it appears a natural progression that not only demonstrates consistency in adoption,” the lawmakers said.
