According to PANews, Terraform co-founders Do Kwon and former executive Han Chang-joon reportedly purchased luxury apartments in Belgrade, Serbia, and may have met with Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko SpajiÄ before their arrest. The information was revealed by Dritan AbazoviÄ, a former Prime Minister and current member of parliament in Montenegro, who suggested that the duo might have been involved in more than just evading law enforcement and mingling with Serbian elites.
AbazoviÄ claimed that an informant told him that Kwon and SpajiÄ met at TopaloviÄeva 4 in Belgrade. He further alleged that SpajiÄ might have struck a deal with Kwon to purchase millions of dollars worth of Terra/Luna tokens for a Bulgarian-registered, Singapore-based hedge fund called Das Capital. According to the claim, SpajiÄ was able to buy these tokens at 10 cents each and sell them at $118, although there is no evidence to support this assertion. It is worth noting that SpajiÄ has indeed worked at Das Capital in the past, but it is unclear when he last assisted the company with a transaction or whether the hedge fund has been involved in cryptocurrency.
