[Ethereum Card Wars “Cross the Ages” launches CTA token and raises US$3.5 million]
Cross the Ages, an NFT trading card game competing on the Ethereum extension network Immutable X, announced a new round of funding for CTA tokens with the studio on Wednesday.
The $3.5 million equity round was led by crypto investment giant Animoca Brands, with participation from Sandbox co-creator Sebastien Borget and renewable energy company Tenergie co-creator Nicolas Jeuffrain. The company has raised $23.5 million through previous investments and community fundraising.

Cross the Ages has received significant backing from legacy video game giants like Ubisoft (maker of Assassin's Creed) and Square Enix (creator of Final Fantasy). Both companies have previously invested in the studio, with Ubisoft also investing in the studio earlier this year An NFT expansion pack brings its Watch Dogs series to "Cross the Ages."
