Bridge the NEAR network with Ethereum
The Near network has already launched a new feature on its platform, which is a bridge connecting its network to the Ethereum network, which it calls “Rainbow Bridge.” Coins running on the Ethereum network can be transferred to the Near network, which is an important step in the immediate direction of making the platform as accessible as possible.
Near is currently working on implementing support for the Ethereum Virtual Machine, the software that Ethereum uses to run decentralized applications. Once completed, developers will be able to redeploy their Ethereum applications to the Near network with little to no change. This will make the nearby ecosystem more extensive, which will attract a large number of new users.
Thanks to scalability, even with a large number of users on the network, fees and transaction speed will remain at approximately the same level.
