A mistake that 99% of beginners will make is to follow crypto influencers who promise them huge gains: they will click much more on titles like "x10 COMING ON THIS CRYPTO! 🔥" than on titles like "Crypto Market Analysis for 25/03/2024".
It's human nature, those titles are enticing. However, know that it's the worst thing to do: influencers posting this type of content are in 9 out of 10 cases paid by the cryptocurrency in question to promote it. They don't believe in the cryptocurrency they're presenting, they only believe in the payment they receive in their account after publishing the video.
Don't pay attention to this kind of content, no matters on which social media. Watch content from rational influencers who know how to control their emotions and whose sincerity you are sure of. An influencer who often promotes cryptocurrencies is surely being paid for it - so don't listen to them at all.
I'm alienating the entire influencer community by writing this, but know that it's the simple truth. Be careful who you trust.
