According to Wu, Switzerland's fourth largest bank, Zurich Cantonal Bank (ZKB), announced the launch of cryptocurrency trading and storage services, supporting Bitcoin and Ethereum. The service has been integrated into ZKB's existing channels, including its electronic banking and mobile banking, and customers can conduct cryptocurrency transactions around the clock.

Alexandra Scriba, head of institutional clients at ZKB, said that clients do not need to have their own wallets or worry about the storage of private keys, as ZKB will take care of these functions. In addition, ZKB has also partnered with Crypto Finance AG, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group, to process cryptocurrency transactions and has attracted other banks such as Thurgauer Kantonalbank to use its crypto services.
