Bitcoin could reach US$120K by the end of 2024, according to Standard Chartered
Previously, the bank said it expected the cryptocurrency to reach $100,000 by then.
Bitcoin (BTC), the world's largest cryptocurrency by market value, could rise to $50,000 by the end of this year and as much as $120,000 by the end of 2024, Standard Chartered Bank said in a research report on Monday.
The British multinational bank raised its bitcoin price forecast from $100,000 forecast in April. Standard Chartered said then that bitcoin had the potential to reach that level due to several factors, one of them the crisis in the banking sector.
