The ASI Alliance is an industry alliance formed to challenge the dominance of Big Tech in the AI ​​space. On September 19, ASI opened a vote to add cloud computing and blockchain platform Cudos to the alliance. The vote will continue until September 24, and the community will decide whether Cudos should join the ASI Alliance.

Cudos’ participation aims to increase the computing power needed to support the alliance’s mission of developing general artificial intelligence (AGI). However, the ASI Alliance still falls short of 80% of the computing power needed for AGI. SingularityNET CEO Ben Goertzel said that the ASI Alliance has the potential to scale with decentralized solutions.
