Blockchain detective ZachXBT has exposed hackers who stole more than $240 million in Bitcoin from a wealthy victim via a social engineering scam. 🚨

The detective noted that thanks to his efforts and the criminals’ mistakes, “multiple arrests and millions of dollars frozen.”

The scammers tricked the victim by posing as Google and Gemini support staff and stole 4,064 BTC. The hackers leaked their identities and some were arrested.
