DZ Bank will provide cryptocurrency trading and custody services to its customers in collaboration with Boerse Stuttgart Digital, Germany’s second largest financial institution. This collaboration will provide retail customers of the approximately 700 cooperative banks under the umbrella of DZ Bank with access to digital assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH).

The new service is planned to be rolled out in phases and will be tested with selected retail customers first. Boerse Stuttgart Digital will provide the regulatory infrastructure and technical elements to provide DZ Bank’s crypto trading and custody solutions.
