According to TechFlow, on September 19, The Block reported that users of the cryptocurrency trading robot Banana Gun reported that their wallet funds were stolen. The project team has shut down the Telegram robot and launched an investigation. Community member yannickcrypto.eth posted on the X platform: "There are currently 36 victims on the mainnet, and about 563 Ethereum (worth $1.4 million) has been stolen. I don't think Banana Gun itself was hacked, and the number of victims is not enough to support this statement."
Earlier news, Banana Gun wallet was suspected of having a security breach, and BANANA fell 8.70% in a short period of time. Banana Gun's official Telegram channel posted a top message saying: "We are investigating this issue, and the robot is currently offline."
