DuckChain is the first Layer 2 project on the TON network, powered by TONScale Labs and Arbitrum. We are committed to driving mass adoption of TON by integrating EVM infrastructure and liquidity solutions. To achieve this goal, our testnet is now live!
To celebrate the launch of the DuckChain testnet, we launched the Star Season event. This event aims to seamlessly introduce Web2 users such as Telegram to the DuckChain ecosystem and allow them to easily experience the DuckChain network.

Uses of co-branded NFTs
Co-branded NFTs are key props for future DuckChain airdrops and other mystery rewards. Collecting various Duck NFTs can increase your future airdrop rewards. In addition, users who hold certain NFTs will also receive additional rewards from our partners.

Star Gas System
Telegram Star is a new way to pay for digital goods and services in the Telegram ecosystem. Users can earn Stars through PremiumBot or Fragment. These Stars can be used to pay for a variety of digital products provided by bots, including e-books, online courses, and items in Telegram games.
DuckChain has integrated Telegram Star as the gas fee system for its testnet. By using Stars, Web2 users can easily participate in DuckChain activities such as minting NFTs without the need for traditional cryptocurrencies or wallets. Stars deposited during the testnet will be synchronized on the mainnet, and Stars consumed during the testnet will not affect the user's balance, ensuring easy and risk-free operation.

The testnet was launched on September 18th.
1) Connect to Telegram and generate a DuckChain address
After joining the Star Season event, DuckChain will automatically link your Telegram account and create a DuckChain address for you. No additional action is required, just check your address on the event page.
2) Deposit Stars
Click "Deposit", select the amount, confirm and pay. These Stars will be stored for future use on the DuckChain mainnet. Deposited Stars are essential for future airdrop qualifications!
If you don’t have enough DuckChain TON test tokens, you can mint NFTs through DuckChain using Stars as gas. You will also get 5 additional minting opportunities for your first deposit.
3) Receive free test TON
Every 24 hours, 0.001 TON can be collected from the DuckChain test network for trading, and the specific amount may be adjusted based on network conditions.
4) Minting Duck NFTs
Using the test TON obtained from the faucet, you can mint a Duck NFT for free, and new users have one minting opportunity by default. But by depositing Stars, you can unlock five additional minting opportunities. You can also choose to pay gas fees with Stars for a seamless minting experience.
As a special reward for early supporters, users who join the DuckChain mini-app before the testnet event will receive 2 additional minting opportunities.
5) Invite friends to earn extra casting opportunities
For every 5 friends you invite through your referral link, you can get an additional Duck NFT minting opportunity. There is no limit to the number of people you can invite, the more friends you have, the more minting opportunities you get!
6) View your NFT collection
After minting, you can view your NFT in your collection. The NFTs you receive are randomly assigned. These co-branded NFTs may bring airdrops and rewards from cooperative projects. Keep an eye on your collection for a chance to unlock more surprise rewards!
