According to The Blcok, Vana, a web3 startup that aims to build a user-owned data pool network, announced that it has raised an additional $5 million, bringing its total financing to $25 million. This round of strategic financing was led by Coinbase Ventures and participated by Paradigm. Paradigm led the company's $18 million Series A financing. The DAO in the Vana network will allow members to pool data accumulated from the use of social media platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn or X, and monetize it by selling this data to AI researchers. Vana's mainnet has not yet been launched, and Reddit DAO is the only one that is fully operational, with approximately 140,000 users joining Reddit DAO.
