Telegram's largest crypto game, Hamster Kombat, announced Tuesday via a mini app that the first season of in-game rewards will end on Sept. 20, with tokens and ether starting next week.
the in-game screen, the first season will end on Sept. 20, and player achievements up to that point will be converted to HMSTR tokens.
Hamster Kombat encourages players to hurry up and level up before the season ends. The team previously revealed what in-game criteria will be used to distribute the tokens.
In a Telegram community post published on Tuesday, the Hamster Kombat team said it would take a snapshot of in-game income and player status at 18:00 UTC on September 20. However, as previously confirmed, this will be followed by a second season of in-game rewards.
The game's first season will end. Therefore, the picture will be taken on September 20 at 18:00 UTC.
But this is not the end! It's the beginning of something much bigger!
September 26, Hamster Kombat will launch HMSTR tokens on The Open Network (TON), offering players the right to airdrop. It was previously claimed that the game already has over 300 million players, with 94 million active players last month, according to the Telegram app. This makes it Telegram's most popular game to date.
While the launch of the Hamster Kombat #token is widely anticipated by crypto gamers, it is also seen as a potential problem for #TON itself: in late August, TON was suspended twice due to another token request for a smaller project, and the scale of the Hamster Kombat issue has again raised concerns that it could take the network offline.
In a Telegram post last week, TON #Core developers acknowledged that the HMSTR launch and Catizen's upcoming CATI token launch on September 20 could lead to more technical pressure and possibly some unforeseen issues during the high-profile token reset. Copy.
