Odaily Planet Daily News Kaspa Ecosystem Foundation announced the launch of the first phase of the Katalyst ecological development plan with a total amount of US$10 million. The plan aims to promote the prosperity of the Kaspa ecosystem in all aspects, covering multiple fields such as financial support, infrastructure construction, and user and developer education. The Katalyst plan is divided into four strategic phases: sowing, germination, growth, and fruition. The first phase will be kicked off by the launch of the KRC20 protocol created based on Kasplex on the mainnet on September 15. It is reported that Kasplex, as the infrastructure of Kaspa, aims to enable developers, artists, and influential people to easily start projects on Kaspa. The Kaspa ecological protocol KRC20 allows users to issue, deploy, mint, and transfer homogeneous tokens on Kaspa. Previously, in the three-month internal test and stress test, the KRC20 protocol has successfully processed 90 million transactions. Among the projects that have been successfully deployed, Meme accounts for the majority, including the cat NACHO of the early core founding researchers. Other Kaspa ecosystem projects can also use KRC20 as a way to publish assets on their own chains and experience Kaspa's performance advantages of fast network speed and low fees.
