What is BOB?
Blockchain-on-Blockchain (BOB) is a new blockchain built on top of another blockchain ICP. It is like a special layer on the existing system. BOB creates a secure digital record book and uses ICP’s network to ensure security.
How does BOB work?
BOB uses a system called “on-chain proof of work”:
You deploy your smart contract (container) on bob.fun;
This program solves math problems (hashing);
The main computer (mother node) issues these questions;
The miner solves the problem and informs the parent node;
If correct, the parent node adds a new block to the blockchain;
The winning miner will receive BOB tokens as a reward.

Mining details
At the current speed of 6M hash/s, it takes an average of 432 seconds for 1,000 miners to mine a block. There is no limit on the number of miners, and miners are selected by the parent node after paying the fee.
Cost and speed
On ICP, $1 can buy 1T Cycles (the fuel for the program);
A miner's program uses 1T cycles per day at full speed;
Miners choose their rate, which affects the number of problems solved per day;
Each message contains 6,000,000 resolved issues;
If a miner's program runs out of cycles, it will stop until it is recharged.
