VanEck, the issuer of the ETH ETF, recently announced that it will close and liquidate its Ethereum Futures ETF (EFUT).

This decision has been approved by the board of directors, and the fund's liquidation and dissolution process will be implemented soon. VanEck explained that the decision took into account a number of factors, including fund performance, liquidity, assets under management, investor interest, and other operational considerations.

Fund shareholders have the opportunity to sell their shares before the market closes on September 16, 2024.
