💥Cryptocurrency hackers reaped a huge harvest in August! 💥

Data shows that hackers stole $313.86 million worth of digital assets through more than a dozen cyber attacks in August, including two phishing attacks that took away $238 million worth of BTC and $55.4 million worth of DAI. 😱

The Immunefi report pointed out that as of August 2024, the crypto industry had lost $1.21 billion worth of crypto assets due to hacker attacks and fraud. Nearly 80% of cryptocurrencies could not recover their original value after being attacked, resulting in huge losses.
