According to Odaily, market sources reveal that after the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) won its antitrust case against Google on Monday, the government is not stopping at weakening the company's profitable alliance with Apple. Lawyers following the case suggest that in the next phase, government attorneys may also attempt to hinder Google's efforts to dominate the next generation of search, particularly conversational AI, and make it easier for other search service providers to erode Google's 95% market share.

Gene Burrus, a former assistant general counsel at Microsoft, indicated that DOJ lawyers are almost certain to request the judge to implement 'structural remedies,' such as forcing Google to divest its Android system. The judge has noted that the Android system has helped Google improperly maintain its monopoly. This approach would go beyond merely altering Google's business practices in search operations and its partnerships with companies like Apple.
