According to Foresight News, Tether announced that USDT on TON has been launched on the crypto payment application CityPay.

CityPay completed a seed round of financing of over 2 million euros (about 2.17 million US dollars) in August 2023, with Tether and others participating in the investment. Tether announced again in May 2024 that it would make additional investments in CityPay, but the specific investment amount was not disclosed.
