Moreover, the coin witnessed a sharp decline of 11.89% in the weekly charts over the past seven days.
Likewise, the value of the Shiba Inu has decreased by 4.32% over the past 30 days and by 35.7% over the past three months. Despite this, Shiba Inu's year-to-date (MTD) and year-to-date (YTD) performance has been impressive, with CryptoRank data showing that the coin has risen by 3.97% and 68.3%, respectively.

According to an updated report from Finder, 13 cryptocurrency specialists shared their opinions on the performance of the Shiba Inu between now and 2030.
Experts issued their forecast when SHIB was trading at $0.000009. According to the Finder report, experts expect SHIB to trade at $0.00001 by the end of this year, reflecting an 11.11% rise from a price of $0.000009 at the time of the survey. Interestingly, Shiba Inu's current price of $0.00001740 beats the target of $0.00001 by 74%.
Furthermore, they expect SHIB to trade at $0.000025 by 2025 and $0.000045 by 2030, six years from now. It is worth noting that the target of $0.000025 represents an increase of 177.77% from $0.000009 (the price at the time of the report), while the target of $0.000045 requires an increase of 400% from the same level.
Expert recommendations on maintaining SHIB
Meanwhile, 30 experts shared their opinions on whether it is a good time for investors to buy, sell or hold SHIB. It is worth noting that 50% of the committee members recommended that investors keep the dog-themed currency.
In contrast, 30% of members were of the opinion that people should sell SHIB, while 20% of experts recommended that investors buy the currency.
