BlackRock's Bitcoin-Friendly CEO Fink May Become a Minister If Trump Wins
If Donald Trump wins the presidential election, he will establish a brand new management team. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink may also be included in this staff.
Allegedly, Donald Trump is considering making BlackRock CEO Larry Fink or JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon secretary of treasury if he is elected president.
It is known that Trump has worked with Fink before. The former US president said: “Larry has done great things for me. He managed a lot of my money. “I have to say, it has given me great returns,” he said.
BlackRock CEO Fink made positive statements about Bitcoin in an interview with CNBC this month. Fink said, “I believe Bitcoin has a place in portfolios. I believe you will see it become one of the asset classes we all follow. “As I said before, I see it as digital gold,” he said.
BlackRock manages the largest spot Bitcoin ETF today, with more than $20 billion in assets.
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon is not so keen on Bitcoin. Dimon has called Bitcoin a “scam” and a “ponzi scheme” in past interviews.
However, according to Trump's recent statements, Dimon may have changed his views on this issue. “You know, Jamie Dimon, he was very negative, but suddenly he changed his attitude a little bit,” Trump said.
