According to TechFlow, a Republican poll sponsored by crypto investment company Paradigm shows that former US President Donald Trump’s recent support for cryptocurrency may convince some Republicans to view him more positively. The data shows that 13% of people who originally did not intend to vote for him changed their views because of his cryptocurrency stance.

The poll, conducted by Echelon Insights in mid-June and covering more than a thousand likely Republican voters, found that a majority of respondents (60%) believe Congress needs to enact regulations for crypto businesses, while more than a quarter (28%) have dabbled in cryptocurrency ownership, with that involvement skewed toward younger, male, and non-white demographics.
