One of them was a Chinese citizen and the other was a Chinese American. They were kidnapped after arriving in the Philippines and were found dead on June 24.
The victim's family said that the kidnappers had demanded 15 million RMB (about 2.05 million USD) and converted it into USDT to a designated account.
