$FTM I see several glaring issues holding $FTM back heading into
#Sonic. A few off the top of my head:
Outdated Marketing: The strategy is stuck in a past era. Car ads, stiff networking events, lifeless tweets. It’s unrelatable and ineffective in today's market.
Telegram Disaster: Worst UX ever. TG is overrun by scam calls, slowmo chats, and clueless admins. It's time to migrate to Discord for a cleaner, more constructive experience, weed out the bad blood and start over.
Unoriginal Moves: Copying @litecoin's mascot days later and recycling tweets (eg Ansem vs Bitboy as Tyson vs Paul). If you can't be original, at least be a fast follower.
Sonic Timing: Why build on Fantom now when devs can just wait and launch on Sonic directly? Migration weeks later makes no sense.
Old Capital Only: Partnership news has no impact and it's not bringing in fresh money. As a new investor it's hard to buy into $FTM right now.
Forced Memes: Incubating memes via enterprise campaigns? Counterintuitive. Memes must grow organically. Instead, fund smarter initiatives like AI-driven meme agents or projects with viral potential. The last thing a meme project needs is to succeed by receiving foundation airdrops.
I can go on and on, but I do think the team is strong in some areas (eg, BD efforts and legit partnerships), Fantom has been misfiring on too many fronts. It's time to rework the approach or be forgotten and discarded.
