According to TechFlow, according to CoinDesk, Lucy Castledine, director of consumer investment at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), said that although new marketing rules will take effect on October 8, requiring some overseas cryptocurrency exchanges to register with the FCA, the registration of these exchanges is progressing slowly.

"There are some overseas companies that have not complied with the new rules. The problem is that their registration with the FCA is not perfect. We will issue warnings to companies that do not comply with the new rules and take action on a case-by-case basis to remove their online exchanges."

Previously, the FCA announced that it would begin enforcing regulations on "crypto product marketing" from August 8, including a ban on referral payments and FCA registration.
