Lead traders can create up to two API keys for their lead trading portfolios on the Binance Copy Trading platform.
1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [Futures] - [Copy Trading]. Go to the portfolio you wish to create an API key and click [API].
2. Click [Create Copy Trading API].
3. Click [Edit restrictions].
4. Select [Restrict access to trusted IPs only], and enter the whitelist IPs. Click [Confirm] and you’ll be able to check the box next to [Enable Futures].
5. After your API key is successfully created, you’ll see an [API Trading] label on the portfolio. For more details on API trading, please refer to the Binance API documentation.
Important notes:
- Before generating an API key, please ensure that you have created a lead portfolio.
- The Copy trading API can only be utilised for Futures trading.
- The API key will be automatically deleted upon closure of the lead portfolio.
- Lead traders can create up to two API keys for each lead portfolio.
- The Multi-Assets Mode cannot be used with the Copy Trading API key.
- The Copy Trading API key only supports USDT. You can transfer funds via the [My Lead Trading] page.
- The Lead Trader API order rate limit is 20 requests per 10 seconds.
