đAnimoca Brands, a game software and venture capital firm, has invested in the seed round of financing for Saltwater Games' XR tokens. Saltwater Games, a Web3 game company, is composed of Nexus Labs, Maze Theory, and Saltwater Labs, all committed to advancing Web3 and AI technologies.
The investment will boost the development of XR One, a gaming platform that aims to onboard traditional gamers to Web3. XR One will be powered by the XR token and plans to integrate several live-operation Web3 titles in 2024 and 2025. đź
In other news, Animoca Brands has also invested in CARV, a modular data layer for gaming and AI, and launched the NFT Launchpad SORAH for users in Japan.
