According to U.Today, PlanB, a well-known crypto analyst and the creator of the stock-to-flow (S2F) model, has shared his predictions for Bitcoin's (BTC) price for the next five years, from 2024 to 2028. The analyst predicts that Bitcoin will reach $150,000 by the end of 2024, $800,000 by 2025, $400,000 by 2026, $300,000 by 2027, and $400,000 by 2028. These predictions are based on the S2F model, which compares Bitcoin’s trend with previous cycles and aligns with the S2F^3 power law model.

PlanB acknowledges that these predictions may seem unrealistic, but he asserts that a price of $800,000 would align with the best fitting, highest R2, historical data model. However, he also points out potential risks that could disrupt this bullish forecast, including hacks, scams, defaults, forks, and regulatory crackdowns. Jeroen Blokland, founder of the Blokland Smart Multi-Asset Fund, noted that a Bitcoin price of $0.8 million would give it a market cap close to that of gold.

Whether PlanB’s bullish price prediction for Bitcoin will come true depends on several factors. The sentiment of investors towards the leading digital asset will play a crucial role in determining its future price movement, as price increases often follow positive market sentiment. PlanB has previously stated that he expects Bitcoin to continue to see accumulation from investors in 2024-2025. If this trend continues, his Bitcoin prediction could become a reality. Another key factor that could push Bitcoin's price higher is increased adoption from institutional players through spot Bitcoin ETF products.
