• Gold futures continued their losses during Friday’s session, falling by more than $60 to $2,327.10 per ounce.
• Gold losses coincided with the stabilization of the People’s Bank of China’s possession of the yellow metal in May, which is the first time in 18 months that the Chinese central bank did not enhance its gold reserves.
• The losses also coincided with the release of the US jobs report for last month, which showed that jobs were added more than expected.
