Algorand (ALGO) recently stated to be the Top Layer 1 and criticized SOL, ETH and BTC for their performances! The Algorand Marketing Team even came up with an ad-video, where it mocked these networks, pointing out high transaction fees, long waiting times and chain failures. However, despite this bold marketing strategy, ALGO still remains significantly down from its ATH (95% down)! Looks like the campaign didn't shake up its price/community!
In my opinion, Algorand should employ its financial resources in other ways, rather than negativity promoting other crypto projects. For example it could focus on improving TPS or maintaining essential tools like the block explorer!
