The real truth is that many don't understand how to conduct a clear and precise transaction and blame it on the service.
P2p is not a scam in itself but the individual who is using it must pay attention to the interface and its rules.
Play smart and understand what is required from both parties.
If you loose money it's on you of what you understood.
You are not to expect but DYOR.
If the seller has decided not to continue and fulfill the transaction then did you check all there credentials or just went for quci buck 💶.
