BTC WILL WIN REGARDLESS
Regardless of what happens in the world, BTC will win in many instances, in my humble opinion.
The only thing it will lose against is dumping by holders. Otherwise, it is likely to win. Here are some points for your consideration. Let me know your thoughts.
1) Limited supply (21M). Its scarcity helps it win.
2) If oil price goes up, BTC becomes valuable as cost to mine goes up.
3) If gold goes up, BTC, as "electronic gold", will go up.
4) If inflation goes up, BTC will rise as an inflation hedge.
5) If interest rate goes down, BTC will rise as people would have more $ to buy.
6) If war, BTC will rise as it is easier to cross borders with an electronic wallet than a physical wallet with gold bars.
7) Safety of electronic wallet. Not controlled by banks etc. This is a plus point given we hear of banks freezing people's $.
8) Easy & "fast" transaction. Makes people neutral to transact with this medium.
9) An investment portfolio with a certain % of Bitcoin would beat one without.
10) Becomes valuable over time. Proven over the last 10+ years.
