Charles Hoskinson offered tips on dating cryptocurrencies in response to a question from Lily Brody, the creator of the viral video "Cardano Girls." The content creator asked if it's weird to ask a person on the first day of dating if they own ADA.
The #Cardano founder responded that not having the #ADA is a "serious red flag. " Hoskinson jokingly hinted that the person may not be a "cannibal," but if they don't have a native Cardano token, they should still be wary.
He then suggested that he might know one or two eligible "single Cardano men. " The community found Hoskinson's comments amusing, and some agreed with his opinions on potential partners.
However, not all of Hoskinson's responses on Wednesday were received favorably. The Cardano founder apparently poked fun at #Solana after hearing about recent problems with transaction processing on the #blockchain .
The post reported on the level of congestion on Solana's network: according to Dune, Solana's blockchain currently has a non-voting transaction failure rate of over 75%.
Three out of four transactions experience problems before they even reach the blockchain. Apparently, this failure rate is caused by "a large number of arbitrage bots generating spam transactions. " Hoskinson reacted to the news with a popular GIF featuring actor Pedro Pascal.
In response, some X-users criticized the Cardano founder. Some even called him a "founding asshole" and said that such a reaction is the reason why the project is not "saved".
However, the ADA community has also joined in criticizing the Solana network. Some community members consider the network "useless. " Another ADA holder stated that "the Solana team doesn't know the basic principles of blockchain.
This comment was not surprising, as the constant "feud" between the two communities usually ends in an altercation and ridiculing each other's problems.
