- Ethereum gas fees hit 2-year high due to ETH rally and memecoin boom.
- Users paid $193M in gas fees this week, up 78% from last week. Average gas fee for token swap was $40-$60.
- Memecoin demand drove prices and Uniswap volume up. Uniswap, 0x, MetaMask, Arbitrum, Optimism, $ETH and USDT transfers, and trading bots used most gas.
- Layer-2 gas fees also rose, up to $1 per transaction.
